Ogigo Foundation Trust

UNAJI&Co designed uniform for Ogigo Foundation Trust outreach volunteers in Otukpo, Benue State, Nigeria. The Trust is committed to agricultural development and community empowerment. In addition they provide early intervention health care to an indigenous population of Nigeria. Such provisions enable monitoring & prevention of treatable conditions, promoting good health & well being.

It’s been an incredibly insightful experience to collaborate with OFT as the trust is demonstrating the self initiated change & care necessary for sustainable development.

“Ogigo Mebe” is an aristocratic title bestowed to Ene Ojoma Odeh, by Elders of Otukpo, Benue State Nigeria. A noble title which garners great responsibility, Meaning a visionary who sees as clear as glass.

The chosen Unaji artwork “N Child with a Flower” represents the joy in the act of giving when it is done with pure motives.

Non-profit organisations that put in such crucial & exemplary ground work should be championed home & abroad in diaspora. Despite difficult circumstances globally such honourable efforts are maintained.

OFT provides free medical screening and massive distribution of medicine for common ailments. The locals were screened for blood sugar level, malaria, blood pressure and were also dewormed and given health talks by professionals.
